DomusVida is the Assisted Living brand of SPSI in Portugal. The DomusVida assisted living units comprise a space that combines comfort, health care, hospitality services, and permanent security. DomusVida provides a complete set of rehabilitation, healthcare, hotel and entertainment services.
A multidisciplinary team of specialized professionals ensures a proper individual care plan, with 24-hour nurse care and general as well as specialized medical supervision. DomusVida offers both temporary and permanent stay. It also provides solutions for the people who need rehabilitation, post-surgery recovery, or are merely searching for a charming place to stay during holiday periods. The main objective at DomusVida is to foster the autonomy and independence of each resident while respecting their privacy and promoting an active lifestyle.
DomusVida collaborates with the Portuguese national authority for the unemployed to sponsor formal training programs for unemployed people willing to enter the caregiving profession. DomusVida also collaborates with local professional schools and provides on the job training programs.
Mr. Julián José González-Ulecia holds a M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Católico de Artes e Industrias in Spain, and a M.Sc. degree in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in USA. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of SPSI since 2014.
Dr. Luisa Loureiro is a social worker. She holds a BSW degree and an MBA from the Universidade Católica of Portugal. She has been a senior care unit director of SPSI since 2006.
